It's actually quite simple - ineligible rates are all those NOT booked on Hyatt.com or through Hyatt directly, with only a few exceptions (Prive, Costco, etc.)
Not picking on you lighthouse, but are you sure that bookings through Costco are eligible rates? Hyatt? Or most of the majors (Marriott, Hilton, IHG)
I have been searching for answer to that question but haven’t found one til I saw your post. I was assuming not an eligible rate which tipped the balance to booking direct.
