CNN has an article about canouan a few weeks ago. The resort has surprisingly reasonable rates outside of festive season - I pulled in a rate of <2k a night for a 2 bedroom suite. If I hadn't just booked a different beach trip for November would have considered it. of course getting there is a bit difficult!
