Umm, CX is facing serious challenge from IndiGo and SpiceJet (both Indian LCCs seriously scrambling to fuel their growth from ruins of Jet Airways) for South Asian routes, whether the route is out of HKG, SIN, KUL or BKK.
Don't think more fifth freedom to India/Sri Lanka will happen soon for CX/KA.
