If you've stayed before at the hotel using an eligible hyatt.com rate, the hotel will have a customer file on you, showing your elite status.

This MIGHT - at the hotel's discretion - get you some or all of your usual benefits.

If you just show up with a OTA reservation and say "but I'm a Diamond member with a giraffe" you'll be staying in the basement.
