This customer appreciation website is an absolute joke. I use the link provided in the email and I enter my data and choose to confirm via MP#. Great. I click "Submit" and am forced to login using my MP# and password. Huh? After I do that I'm re-directed straight to united.com.

I do this again. This time I login and I'm redirected to mystatus.united.com. HUH? Not only am I being re-directed when I shouldn't be, I'm being re-directed to two completely different URLs.

Third time is the charm. I login and this time I get the choice of $125 or 6,250 miles.

PS - this is for a flight that left the gate five minutes early and then sat on the tarmac for over 3 hours as departures were closed, then opened, then shut again because a thunderstorm developed right over the airport, then the crew timed out.
