I see comments for sub 200EUR rates but maybe that was a while ago. Best rate on Marriott site is ~225-233EUR.
I ended up making a booking using cash and points. 2 nights cash 547EUR + 70K pts. Not a bargain but worth it?
As a lifetime Platinum, I hope for an upgrade. It does sound like the lounge is a great benefit if it's not too crowded. (crowds in early April??)

Few questions, some probably stupid but-
- why are prices in Euros? I didn't think Hungary was on the euro? Almost a 100euros in taxes for the 2 nights. Wow
- I'll earn points for the 2 nights paid correct?
- We'll be arriving after midnight 12:15 am from LHR (if all goes well). What's the best way to get to the hotel, especially given that late hour?
I would like to EM them to confirm that they hold my room since we won''t arrive till what after 1 am?
Thanks,
Another option is to arrange for a pickup through the hotel. We did that when we arrived by train.
