The QF reply to my email of complaint:

Thank you for your patience and apologise for any inconvenience this may
have caused . The problems you have been experiencing are intermittent
and should be rectified as soon as possible. Please try the website again
soon
Seems a somewhat generic reply on access rather than the issue of waitlisting, phone contacts being wrong etc.
Hope we won't see a repeat of this stuff-up for a while. Maybe QF now have a better idea of the usage we put the "your bookings" to.
