As I often say, if you ask 10 people what their seat preference is, you will get 15 answers (=/-) because some will say 3K and others will say hmmm, 3K except if westbound during the day, then 4A, or except if I'm travelling with someone else.

Some who fly these cabins on the 788/789/777s do have preferences, where available. Others don't really care. And for couples, it's always a debate. Side/side, across the aisle or front/back. There is no correct answer and what works for some, will not be convenient for others.
