What kind of turbulence are we talking about?

Turbulent local people? Turbulent international tourists? Turbulent political gatherings? Turbulent exchange rates? Turbulent air travel? Turbulent boat travel? Turbulent automobile travel? Turbulent hotel prices?

I find if you keep to yourself, keep a tiny poncho in your day bag, and don't worry about the exchange rates at the bank, then most tubulence is avoided. It's when you start telling people that they are wrong and they should do it your way that you will discover extreme turbulence. As for boat turbulence, yeah, it depends on the month. Just bring a small plastic bag to vomit in...you will see other people doing the same.
