Oh, and contrary to nrouxel, I only got double points for a single stay (the first eligible) in April/May/June and now triple points for part of a single stay in July; nothing for the remaining stays.

I wonder whether this is waiting also for me. I've two rooms booked for the same stay under my account but on separate bookings. I've a feeling I'll receive points for one room only.
This is exactly what happened. I didn’t receive the early booker’s 4 x bonus points for the second room but for one room only.
