Why No Nonstop From US to BHX, GLA, EDI

Why is British Airways so weak in the nonstop TransAtlantic markets from Birmingham, Edinburgh, and Glasgow!

It would appear is if Continental Airlines has beat British Airways at its own game offering nonstop service to Birmingham, Edinburgh, and Glasgow from Newark.

In addition British Airways has a very weak and limited Intercontinental route network from Manchester. Limited only to JFK for Intercontinental service. AA and its flight in all Economy from Boston has replaced the British Airways service that was cancelled years back. Furthermore British Airways has yet to re-instate its JFK-BHX service!

London Heathrow is nice..... But such a mess!
