Very confusing OP.
It is entirely unclear that OP filed a formal dispute through the process set forth on his monthly statement. That is entirely from Chase Travel Center. While the statute requires that the dispute be filed in writing and via mail, Chase honors online disputes and provides the form.
Would be helpful if OP would make clear whether he is simply arguing with CTC or whether he has initiated a dispute (which he could do with any merchant vendor).
