While I've only been in Row 10 once, I did not get any noise from the PE section, so I didn't mind it at all, but you are served last in the is row.
Thanks. All of the center blocks of two are open except for Row 3. I was curious about footwell space. Didn't think about getting served first or last but that's good input - it's a fairly short redeye (HNL-DFW) so getting served earlier would be nicer so I can try to get to sleep earlier. I've been on somewhat similar set-ups and like the front or back row of J for the extra storage space with the "shelf" that would otherwise be where another seat is but if galley noise is an issue it may not be worth it.
