Miles for delays?
A couple of times this year I thought I've heard cabin crew announce words to the effect that miles would be offered to M&B members to compensate for flight delays. No miles were ever credited so the first time I assumed I had misheard but second time I queried with A3 and they replied that crew don't have the authority to offer miles in this way.
This may well be true (and I may need to get my ears checked) but has anyone else come across this? And even been credited miles?
