Yes the 10k miles were for a one year agreement. I just thought I could still get the discount since I was a T-mobile customer plus I figured since the miles had already posted there was no way they could or would take them back.
(Contadicts the theory that once partner miles have posted AA will not remove them)
My only beef ( if I even have one ) is that I specifically asked the CSR if making the change would affect my bonus and that I was prepared to stay the full year, to be told incorrectly.. no.

Anyway the year ends on Dec will see if they offer a re-upp bonus.
