The PPro seat's MCE remained available, so it wasn't done out of some need for that specific seat, or anything like that.
I've asked for it to be fixed (before departure) and an explanation. AA has confirmed that I (EXP) was skipped, has not yet fixed it, and only referred it to internal review.
Some additional questions:
Is the Platinum Pro also CK ? CK eligibility is not solely dependent on EXP status.
Did the Plat Pro get an e-mail saying something along the lines, we are giving you some extra love soon ? I've received unexpected domestic upgrades outside of my window (I'm EXP) a couple of times in the past year, each time after an IRROPS and then receiving an e-mail like that.
Finally, what is the trailing annual spend of the Plat Pro compared to the EXP in question ? I've sometimes seen the list get re-ordered and a helpful AAngel once told me that the algorithm that calculates trailing annual spend sometimes goes a little berserk. I do know that status is supposed to be the first order, and spend the second order. Just asking for curiosity.
