Well...just ran into my first VbV failure on Chase; the popup asked me to call in. Granted, perhaps a VPN is a bit suspicious of a purchase, but still. I ended up using another card instead of calling in (which didn't produce any 3DS prompts at all).

Anyway, hopefully I don't have problems at the next online merchant that uses it.
