Having breakfast right now at a Marriott property in India and was asked verbally for my room number at the entrance. Come to think of it, almost all of my breakfast restaurant encounters in Europe and Asia asked room numbers out loud upon entry. Never gave it too much thought until I saw this thread. Interesting.
