Without meaning to go too off-topic, I can also understand your disappointment at the Grande Bretagne. I have proclaimed it my favourite SPG hotel in Europe many times on these forums, but it is becoming overdo a refit and since the merger they have apparently lost all CRM capabilities. I have been visiting 3-4 times a year for over 5 years now and got used to being greeted with everything being arranged after pre-arrival communication with my Butler and the Concierge, but now it's just stand downstairs in the check-in queue behind some cruise shippers on their way to Santorini before being asked if it's my first time in Athens.
