I spend between 20K to 40K a month on my credit card and until now was using AMEX Platinum to collect points. Recently, I noticed that there is a 3% cashback credit card from Alliant Cashback VisaŽ Signature Credit Card . If I want to maximize my cashback, what card would you suggest?

I miss FIA Card Services 5% cash back from ten years ago. That was a really awesome card.

I use AMEX, but given that I usually transfer points to airline miles, I am starting to find significant limitations as miles become super expensive. Just the other day, I had to spend 720K for 2 RT business tickets to Rome from Detroit on Delta. It was a complete ripoff since usually I would travel RT for 120K or less. Now, I am looking for AA tickets to Japan, and it is still 300K per person. Thus, my inclination to switch to cashback - simpler.

Would appreciate any help!
