I have spent many nights there over the last 18 years, some good, some bad.
Hilton Group tried to offload it before being themselves taken over by Hilton worldwide, I recall that they found out they didn’t actually own it!

It had a couple of refurbs over the years, but some of it’s issues such as parking and being spread over two sides of the same street couldn’t be refurbished away.
Although adding to its character, it’s quirkinesses was ultimately it’s downfall!
