Today I wanted to use up some of my orphaned miles before they expire with Czech - a simple AMS-PRG-AMS return and when I called, they confirmed space was available. However towards the end, when trying to finalize all in order to let me know the taxes and charges needed, the agent told me that they could not confirm the place. Is this what is happening here? If not, what's the normal way for agents to confirm the open seat that they see?
I am hoping to call back again to see if that 1 open seat is again available - as the agent could not find any more seats after - I suspected that since it was gone from the inventory, it needs to go back in.
