Indeed, today flights were not cancelled, probably because TG-flights in HKG depart from Terminal 2, while Terminal 1 has been closed again this afternoon.
This post dates today at 7:57 am BKK time from my phone and stated HKG airport was closed yesterday so the OP is talking about flights on 13/8.
