Similar experience here. CSR mistakenly touched in cash instead of credit so she only charged me $1500 (500 x 3) for $2K money order. She didn't notice but I reminded her before she gave me the money order. The solution was to give her $500 in cash and that's what I did. Quite a hassle to go back home find debit card and then pull cash from ATM but it's definitely right thing to do.
