The one thing you can say about him though is he does pop up everywhere... Sorry you didn't spot the wee bit of sarcasm in the recent video!
Back OT, and addressing the thread at large:
I'll be flying the A350 in October on a proper CW route, up to YYZ. Looking forward to it. The seat is very similar to WestJet and Air Canada's who I've recently flown, except with a door, so expectation management from BA is key.
It's interesting to read the various opinions on reviewers and the like in this thread. Somehow I've accrued over 140K subscribers on the old YouTubes and managed to quit my job to take my gig full time, yet I don't consider myself any sort of analyst or expert. I don't sit at home poring over the technical specs of cabin design, or looking into airline financials. It pays to remember that airline review content on YouTube isn't really educational, in as much as I don't think the majority of viewers are really there to find out
exactly how damn good BA suites are. It's always been clear to me that video content of this type appeals
mostly to people who don't travel much, either as a form of escapism or a way of inspiring them to travel more (and better!). There's a good reason that Top Gear loved reviewing supercars and it wasn't because there were 8 million people at home all in the market for a Lamborghini.
