I recently stayed at this hotel for one night and was remarkably unimpressed.
Transportation:
- there's no hotel shuttle bus
- there's a regional bus that leaves MUC every 20-30 minutes and stops right in front of the hotel (fare is ~2Euros), which isn't unreasonably IMO if you know what to expect
- getting to Munich involves taking a bus to "Besucherpark" (a < 5 min bus ride) connecting to the S-Bahn (~45min total)
Check-in:
- front desk staff was rather unfriendly and inefficient
Platinum benefits:
- no welcome gift
- no upgrade
- lounge access was proactively offered
- no other benefits
room:
Not sure whether all rooms have the same layout, but it was extremely poor:
- the room itself had a bed; a desk and chair - whIch were adequate
- then there was a small toilet room, and a completely separate, unconnected shower room (2sqm max.) that opened into the bedroom - I honestly can't think of a more ridiculous layout
Executive lounge:
I probably should be grateful that there was a lounge at all, but it's probably the worst lounge I've ever seen:
- the lounge literally is the size of 1-2 rooms and has 4-5 small tables that were occupied by a single family
- there's a coffee machine and a small fridge
- on the bright side, the fridge contained some sparkling raspberry lemonade (and a few other "outside-the-box" drinks) in addition to water, sprite and coke
- no snacks wahtsoever apart from some very basic packaged snacks
- no breakfast
- no alcoholic beverages (not even beer or wine)
Check-out:
- different agent; perfecty efficient and pleasant
Overall I've stayed at more pleasant 2* guest houses / hotels, and while there was nothing inherently "terrible" about this hotel, I very much hope I'll never have a reason to return.
