Assuming that a typical case weighs 2kg to 3kg, an 8kg weight limit leaves only 5kg to 6kg of belongings. So a weight limit of 8kg is unreasonably low, given that very people would be able to travel with only 5kg to 6kg of belongings. If AY intends its 8kg weight limit to necessitate passengers on HBO fares to purchase a checked baggage allowance, then the headline HBO fare is a misleading indication of price, given that it is less than AY expects to receive from the passenger.
