If you normally book non refundable rates then the night isn’t really 2-4-1 as take the last weekend in September the cheapest room at IC PL is £645 for two nights without breakfast non refundable. But the 2-4-1 rate is best fully flex price of £439 so it’s not 2-4-1 but rather c30% off. But £200 saving still covers the cost of ambassador.

I guess you are talking about the weekemd rate night. These used to be excellent value, but much of that went when they became only available on refundable nights. I saved around $50 on (non-ref) weekend stay in Bali, and got into an endless to and fro to get even one night's stay credited.
Now i'm no longer a RA, there's not much incentive to stay at an IC: and $25 a night off the bill doesn't do much to change that.
