FWIW, the one time I've done BA283, my approach to jetlag was to have the light meal - a bacon roll in my case - as "breakfast" first, then to have the more substantial meal a couple of hours before landing, as this is more plausible at the destination given the time difference. I got to the airport late due to traffic and SSSS so had no time for the CCR.
I heard ‘SSSS’ mentioned at the gate yesterday, also on a LAX bound flight; what does it stand for?
