Cancelled TLV flights - options?
I booked a one way TLV-LHR (via HEL) in J on Finnair, but just received an email from AY that they cancelled my flight. It seems that they have moved from a daily flight to a flight every other day during that period (did not check whether it is a broader change) and my day was one that lost the flight.
They rebooked me for the next day (so exactly 24 hours later than originally booked) which does not work for me as I have another flight (separate booking) the next day. Conversely, moving to 24 hours earlier (an option I have no doubt they would accept) means that I would miss what I am going to TLV for so it doesn't work either.
Does anyone know the rebooking rules that AY has? Would they likely rebook me on an alternative airline such as BA or IB on my original date of travel? I presume that they would offer to cancel and refund but by now, the prices on other airlines are a lot more expensive than they were when I booked so that is not a particularly desirable outcome. This was paid business class and I'm OW Emerald if it makes any difference.
Thanks in advance!
