The Marketing people at BA are stupid. There I have said it. We are one month away from Christmas. Why not offer companion tickets on European routes for high-users, Mrs. (or partner) frequent European traveller, may just want to do some shoppiing in Europe, whilst Mr Frequent Traveller does some work.
They called give the promotion a catchy and imaginative name - maybe even say it was a Christmas Present. I knew that MBA would come in handy one day.
