I personally believe seasonal setting for North America is too generous. For ex-australia on CX, the high season sticks around until January!
The high season for this year for ex-Aust to HKG starts on 09 Dec and stays till 16 Jan next year. The price difference for shoulder and high on CX is about A$400-450, depends on length of validity.
