Why would you consider that THAI would have any obligation to you? Surely their contract with you ceases once they deliver you to FRA. I would expect to buy travel insurance to protect against this circumstance.

If THAI would sell a train connection as some carriers do, then I would expect a rebooking for the train - but does THAI sell such a fly/train package in Europe?
