Funny, having ridden the T in BOS as a student, I was used to grabbing a cup of coffee and hopping on. I got "scolded" for doing the same in the DC Metro; not arrested, however. Apparently the DCA rules apply to the Bart in SFO, as someone cautioned me there once for snacking onboard.
