The bag indeed came out. I picked it up and went upstairs to re-check in.
Who runs this airline? So amateurish.
Thanks to the WS agent who obviously had seen enough of these mishaps to give the correct advice.
The problem with T3 @ YYZ is that, quite often the CBSA will randomly choose inbound transborder and International flights to inspect baggage and therefore nullify the automatic transfer to the next flight. It’s happened to me there a couple of times. Perhaps your flight was one of the chosen ones that day.
