Won't the fact you also have a return on the same ticket coming back pretty much at the same time as your flexible onward ticket? I don't think this is going to work and BA won't let you board.
I was actually thinking of nesting 2 tickets, but to be honest, I don't think I could pluck up the courage to try this out. Seems to be one of those routes which used to work fine, but just doesn't anymore.
