The brilliant weather continues to shine here on Maui today, but we did notice a significant increase in the surf today. Normally gentle Napili Bay is getting a rather large set of waves about every 5 minutes. The wave break often rolls all the way up the sand and over the top of the crest of the beach. Never have seen stuff like that at this bay. But we are enjoying it. It's still pretty tame and the body boarders and kids are having a field day!

They say the waves are supposed to be even bigger tomorrow.

Down south at Kaanapali they recently just re-build their beach that was washed away and devastated from another storm. I wonder if this one is causing any damage down there like that recent one did? We'll probably head down there one day this week and check it out.
