I know that this is a wildly open-ended question (hence me posting it here), but does anyone have any feel whatsoever as to at what point AA will announce a delay on a flight due to a delayed inbound these days? They've always been horrible about it, but as of right now I'm looking at a flight where the inbound is scheduled to arrive 3 hours after the planned departure of my flight, but mine is still showing on time. Is that indicative of a hope that they might grab another plane, or is that just a new low point for me in the state of AA's IT and scheduling? Curious because of course it would be ideal to make alternate plans earlier rather than later...
