Since you "need to get some kind of app working," you might as well set aside an hour to open a bank account.
I will be there for 7 days, 5 of those will be for work. The company will probably take care of us those days as far as meals go. I have only 24 hrs in Shanghai by myself to explore. Not sure opening a bank account for just for a few hours is worth it. I will have some cash just in case. I will manly be going to some tourists attractions my free day. Don't want to shop in big stores, more locals so I will need to find another way to get those apps working. I'm not on a tourist visa
