I’m just finishing a 2-night stay here. A few points:

1. Upgraded on morning of arrival on the app but only got Wainscot on top floor as hotel was full. The room is quite dark as there’s only a tiny window near the bed. Although the room is small, it’s well-designed and there’s a big walk-in shower. Sound proofing is great however there’s noise from people opening and closing doors in the corridor which was annoying.

2. A la carte breakfast - you can choose whatever you like and you’re not restricted to just one dish. I had the full breakfast and fruit salad and one day I added a sausage to the vegetarian breakfast. You can have several drinks too. Nothing to sign and all complimentary. Daniel, the Columbian waiter, is simply great!

3. The minibar prices are ridiculously cheap as highlighted above (80p for Coca Cola!), the pantry is a nice addition but it’s better if your room is at the other side of the corridor (noise), the kiosk has great hot sandwiches and they offer a discount to hotel guests (says 20% on paper in room but I got 30%), there are outside gym options for hotel guests nearby, one with a pool.

Overall a good stay with a great location.
