Is this a good airlines for traveling business class?
is 140k the amount or its too much? 120k was the amount I redeemed when I would travel years ago via Star Alliance.from USA-MNL in business class.
Also the amount 140k sums up to is 2700 plus tax, whereas prices for NYC-MNL in biz is around 3K+.
is this the best deal for us in your opinion?
Am I also missing any promotions/deals or ways/tactics/tricks to take advantage of my AAdvantage membership to get an Elite status. (I don't travel much with AA) and only fly domestic with different carriers once in a while.. Unless anyone has suggestions like buying myself to get elite status to benefit in a business class seat from NY-MNL with the 140k miles?
Sorry if my questions is confusing. I just want to save in anyway possible, period. Thank you all for any tips.
Note that AA miles can also be redeemed for award travel on Cathay Pacific to MNL (via HKG). But aa.com cannot show award availability on CX, so you would have to call AA to check availability on Cathay Pacific.
