I’ve read the recent-ish blog articles that talks about AA’s policy that requires status and/or J booking and 5 hour delay, but I would like to know how realistic it is for an AAgent to rebook on another airline. I’ve read many times on here of AAgents doing things improperly (and becomes an issue at checkin or boarding on the other airline), or people walking the AAgents thru the steps (or verifying their work on-call). Such details aren’t ever described and would also be useful to know.
