We booked NGO-GUM and the Island Hopper flight with Business Saver and were put on "I class waitlisted" for the hopper. At T-48 (but T-24 for the first segment of the PNR), the United app shows "JI class waitlisted" and the standby list and upgrade lists for the flights are all empty.
Do have the split Hopper segments on the PNR, or the direct GUM-HNL? Regardless, you still would not show up on the visible list until you check in for a flight onward from GUM (usually the overnight in GUM is a travel break as far as the system is concerned).
