For a one-way award NYC-MNL, 70k per person in business is not only a good deal, this is the only deal you can have using AA miles.

70k is the sAAver price, and as AA doesn't serve MNL with it's own metal there will be no AAnytime or other options to pay more miles.

So yes, if you've found space for 2 people on a good JL routing for 70k each, then by all means book it. It will not get to look any better than that.
