I flew into tampa on Saturday and walked directly to the car as preferred. At the exit i said i needed my wife as the second driver and the Lady said no problem they don’t need to see her licence as avis covers a spouse automatically.

The spouse or domestic partner must be at least 25 years old but does not need to present a valid license and credit or debit card or complete an additional driver form.
