Besides the beach and walking around the Mayan ruins, there isn't too much to do in Cozumel. The downtown area (sponsored by Diamonds International!) is a dump, and should be avoided, IMO. Perhaps a guided car ride to enjoy the scenery around the island? IIRC, the south-side of the island is very pretty.
