Today was my kiddo's 5th birthday. We did a celebratory breakfast and headed to the airport. Traffic was a bit of a pain and we didn't end up with enough time to go to the Admirals Club (which was not located near our gate). Check-in was again uneventful. Not much of delay on this flight, but we did tell the FA's that we have a cashew allergy and that we don't need warm nuts in our seats. They asked if we needed them to refrain from nuts for the entire cabin, but we said that wouldn't be necessary. Again, our flight was on an older 737 without seat-back IFE. We did not order special meals because prior LGA-based special meals looked horrendous. Instead, we had preordered Zoes Charcuterie Plate, Grilled Chicken with Shitake Mushroom Sauce, and the Fruit and Cheese Plate. The food was all decent, but the Zoes Charcuterie Plate was the best out of the bunch.
