Hers is an LX ticket and she was auto-rebooked. AC is still unaware of the cancellation, and the flight is still showing as on time when I go to web checkin.
Will the AC agent at the airport in Canada be able to make sure we're both put on the same replacement flight from FRA to ZRH? Wife is in business, I'm in Y.
First, not sure if "AC is unaware of..." is a meaningful statement. Booking engine might not but some other places might. What does the reservation show? Then another option might be to call LX? Finally if the flight she was rebooked on is the logical one, odds are they'll do the same for both. I once had a similar situation with LH. Flying from PMO to MUC to LHR and on to Canada. She was rebooked while in flight I was left hanging. We went to the lounge in the UK departure area. They could not rebook me on the same flight wihich at thay point was full in front. They ended up rebooking both of us to FRA and on the next day to Canada.
