changing to IST-HKG-TPE works = valid, 4 pax (2 adults 2 kids) tax/fee is $1500 still seems high to me though without the breakdown
Gonna think more about it

It's frustrating, they have the new rule, and before the rule kicks in they find every ways to decline you from using the OLD rule
