If you check in to two hotels the same night, you run the risk of getting nothing. Bonvoy's systems are easily confused, and I can't see a legitimate reason you could give them to get credit in this situation.

The second room is not entitled to anything, but depending on the property, you might get the upgrade and/or breakfast.
